It's the tune after this one really but I dredged this one up for Little Miss Higgins

This is a song we wrote in response to a CBC radio program by host Craig Norris called 'In the Key of C'  I hope to record a version of it with some lyric changes with the one and only Little Miss Higgins.

Sittin' on my porch
In Crescent Beach BC
The coal train's a comin'
There's just it and me

And I'm playing a song
On my guitar I'm alive!
It's Little Miss Higgins
And the Winnipeg Five

I sit and play
And it wouldn't be right
If that Montana coal train
Didn't give me a fright

It hums and roars
Rattles and fumes
It's no wonder Miss Higgins
Can write such tunes

It's a 'Heavy Train'
...'Shakes my window pane'
I play it over and over...
And over again

I leave BC for a better life
This Ontario heat sure cuts like a knife
I sit on my porch and play it more
To another train I can hear it roar

The auto plant sends 'em out each day
While I sit and watch, I pick and I play
This train aint so loud I'm glad I arrived
I'm still playin' Miss Higgins...
...And the Winnipeg Five

That's the tune that makes me dance
'Heavy Train' rattles it shakes and it rants
As the hours roll on I can pick all day
CBC Heavy Train...
Let's give it a play!
