Cartoon/Podcast Theme Song

Package Pete, Package Pete

See him coming

Down my street

Package Pete, Package Pete

Bring me something

Sweet to eat

Package Pete, Package Pete

It’s good to see you on my street

Tell me, tell me

Oh please do…

Tell me “I’ve got a package for you!”

Package Pete, Package Peat

I can see him

On his way

Pete please stop for me today

Package Pete’s got something

For me hooray!

Fight the Good Fight

c. 2026 H. Alexander Nichols

All we have left

In a world with such pain

Is to love one another

To fight the dark rein

Of those who hate

With anger and greed

Who want nothing less

Than for us to be freed

Without good or kindness

 No peace love or light

We can never surrender

We’ll fight the good fight

They want us to scatter

To pull us apart

They care not for goodness

They hope we lose sight

Of why we are here

We must follow the light

To love one another

We’ll fight the good fight

Fight the good fight

We’ll fight the good fight

There’s but one thing to do

We’ll fight the good fight

We take back the good

We claim our just right

To love one another

We fight the good fight

No I ain’t no profit

No sage and no saint

But I know the difference

How distant or faint

There’s just one way

For us to be

At peace on our earth

One way to be free

We take back the good

We claim our just right

To love one another

Now fight the good fight

Fight the good fight

We fight the good fight

There’s but one thing to do

Go fight the good fight

Mr. Ron Vara

https://youtu.be/7Q__rqE8EQI?si=AzMc9nryD2s6DgzB

Mr. Navarro rolled from his sack

And removed from his rectum

A nugget of crap

A  book I shall write about my idea

As he cleaned and polished

His mental diarrhoea

This is so big I can hardly believe!

As he wiped sweat from his brow

with his Elmo jama sleeve

“I’ll be so famous” then he thought he might faint...

A most peculiar book

I've just pulled past my taint!

Nobody will know from whence it came

I can wright what I like...

They’ll be no one to blame!

I’ll make up a name

I don’t really care a…

So Mr. Navarro

called him "Ron Vara"

He’ll be so much smarter

Much wiser than most

But to find this great man

Will be like hunting a ghost!

Yes his words they’ll be lies

I’ll make up and repeat...

Tariffs are good

They're so scrumptious and sweet!

A publisher bought

his bad book of grift-fiction

And paid him a bonus for his stated conviction.

"Tariffs will save us from fate and from doom

I’ve just sold this crap

To that fat orange buffoon."

He’s a moron you see

A shiftless pretender

And has no respect

For the opposite gender...

He’s a felon a fraud

No I-Q nor degree,

No brain and no soul

He reminds me of me!

He bullies and threatens,

stole his way to the top

A capitol offender...decent he’s not

He’ll spread my bowel contents

all over the map

That Oompa Loompa – my God

Is he fat!?

I’ll get a new job as adviser, chief spoof

It’s absolute hogwash we’ll pass off as truth!

It took only weeks to start the dark play

It ended up called

Lib-er-a-tion Day

From this day hence forth

Trade tariffs would rule

Nobody cared how evil

or cruel.

Until the high court said “Just what’s going on…?

Stop all this madness

You silly moron!”

“I’ll do what I want” said the soulless buffoon –

“I’ll tariff the sky, the mountains the moon

I’ll tariff the trees, their roots and the terra

It’s the right thing to do

I was told by

…Ron Vara.”

Tim Horton’s Song

©2006-2025 Alex Nichols

B-E-F riffs - chorus - E-B-F

I don't like Tim Horton's coffee
When I take a sip
It makes me wanna cry
Even drivin' by
There's a tear in my eye
Cause that's the place you said to me
Good-bye
And all the donut holes in this great big world
Could never make me happy like you do
A double chocolate Boston cream-filled
Triple pudin' pie ...
Always brings back memories of you
Who’s this I see at Tim Horton's coffee?
You smiled and waved me on inside
What's that you say? ...
You started missin' me today
Well I’m with you now and hoping
I can stay
And all the donut holes in this great big world
Could never make me happy like you do
A double chocolate Boston cream-filled
Triple puddin' pie ...
Always brings back memories of you
Now I like Tim Hortons coffee
When I take a sip
It makes me want to fly
Now when I'm drivin' by
To meet my puddin' pie
It's the best spot to say hello or say ...
Goodbye
And all the donut holes in this great big world
Could never make me happy like you do
A double chocolate Boston cream-filled
Triple pudin' pie ...
Always brings back memories of you

Lost in Drumbo

© 2025 H. Alex Nichols

No one knows

how far it is

But there’s a bar and a bog

With a her and his

It’s got a long main drag

Where you drive real slow

The Cow Ridge Cafe

And folks call it

…Drumbo

Drumbo… it’s where you wanna go

With a harvest festival

And it’s very own farm show

It’s got a town-wide yard sale

And an auction house for bids

And CP rail tracks

Where you can leave the kids

There’s this place in town

With a tricky name for a pub

And a special place

For a good ol’ tug an’ rub

Can’t remember the name

Of that watering hole

So I’ll just take a guess and call it

…Drumbo (Pub that is)

I parked my truck at the curb ya know

Had a few libations

an’ listened to the radio-oo

A policeman came along said howdy-do

Nice day for drinking’ and

I’ll take two in

Drumbo…

I checked Trip Advisor

For a five-star hotel

There was Davidson’s and the Eastwood

And The Tulip Motel

I wanted a place of comfort

With air for the heat

A mini-bar and housekeeping

Beyond my truck’s front seat

Yes this is the place of fun

And friv-ol-ity

A place you can imbibe

Where nobody sees

So next time you are searching

For a tidy place to be

Where happy folks abound

And some pleasant company

Look no further I’ve found the place to go

It ain’t New York City

It’s Drumbo, Ontario

Millstone

I’m a millstone tied to my own strife

at the bottom of the river

Feeding aquatic life

Everybody has a purpose

Some have dreams

Some find their fate

Somewhere it seems.

Shoot for the Moon

Can’t figure you from that smile

Will she stay for a while?

Wonder if I’ve flipped my lid

Wonder why you misunderstood

Gotta wonder

why not shoot for the Moon?

It’s not to late

It’s not too soon

not too soon

Etc.
