I fell of my Harley Davidson thinking of you
Good thing I was parked in the underground
And nobody knew ...
You came along and ya said that we were through
But there's one thing left I gotta ask
Before ya go ...
Would you stay one more minute if I beg?
And help me get this Harley off my leg?
The more that I struggle
Did you ever stop to wonder
I fell of my Harley Davidson thinking of you
Good thing I was parked in the underground
And nobody knew ...
You came along and ya said that we were through
But there's one thing left I gotta ask
Before ya go ...
And help me get this Harley off my leg?
The more that I struggle
The more I get pinned down
Won't you stay and help me
Get up off the ground?
Won't you stay and help me
Get up off the ground?
Did you ever stop to wonder
Where it all went wrong?
Then realize ya never had a clue?
Ain't it funny when you think you've got it made
You're only one step closer ...
To the blues
Please take me down to the hospital
I'm hopin' that a physical is possible
I hate to complain ...
But I never felt such pain
It's my heart you've broken ...
Over and over again.
I was workin' in the yard on Sunday an' I
I'm hopin' that a physical is possible
I hate to complain ...
But I never felt such pain
It's my heart you've broken ...
Over and over again.
I was workin' in the yard on Sunday an' I
Stepped on a rake
When I came to it was dark and I
Started to shake
You came home and you told me you were goin'
In your hand two shiny tickets to the Stones
Just wait one more minute while I dress
This bump on my head will match my vest
While waiting on the lawn I realized you were gone
Now I'm all dressed up
With no place left to go
Did you ever stop to wonder
Where it all went wrong?
Then realize ya never had a clue?
Ain't it funny when you think you've got it made
You're only one step closer ...
To the blues
...You're only one step closer
To the blues
...You're only one step closer
To the blues so true
You're only one step closer ...
To the blues
You're only one step closer ...
To the blues
