No one knows
how far it is
But there’s a bar and a bog
With a her and his
It’s got a long main drag
Where you drive real slow
The Cow Ridge Cafe
And folks call it
…Drumbo
Drumbo… it’s where you wanna go
With a harvest festival
And it’s very own farm show
It’s got a town-wide yard sale
And an auction house for bids
And CP rail tracks
Where you can leave the kids
There’s this place in town
With a tricky name for a pub
And a special place
For a good ol’ tug an’ rub
Can’t remember the name
Of that watering hole
So I’ll just take a guess and call it
…Drumbo (Pub that is)
I parked my truck at the curb ya know
Had a few libations
an’ listened to the radio-oo
A policeman came along said howdy-do
Nice day for drinking’ and
I’ll take two in
Drumbo…
I checked Trip Advisor
For a five-star hotel
There was Davidson’s and the Eastwood
And The Tulip Motel
I wanted a place of comfort
With air for the heat
A mini-bar and housekeeping
Beyond my truck’s front seat
Yes this is the place of fun
And friv-ol-ity
A place you can imbibe
Where nobody sees
So next time you are searching
For a tidy place to be
Where happy folks abound
And some pleasant company
Look no further I’ve found the place to go
It ain’t New York City
It’s Drumbo, Ontario
